Hi everyone, my name is Linh Tran. A way to remember my name is to think of it as “Link Train.”
Just like a rapid Seattle-area train that links destinations, I have always been a connector between tech, business, data, and people.
I grew up in a middle-class family in Vietnam. At 17, I left to pursue my dream of higher education
in Seattle, Washington - halfway around the world from where I called home - with only a little
savings and my two suitcases. However, my biggest asset was a young ambitious mind and heart.
That was the early stage of my life startup project.
At that time, I only knew that I had an aptitude for Business. Yet, just like a start-up discovering new paths to evolve,
I learned about my passion for Tech. Growing up in Vietnam, a conservative developing male-dominated country, I did not
have the support to pursue a STEM education or degree. I did not even have internet
at home. When I arrived in the U.S., I was amazed by how technology could empower human life, redefine the landscapes
of businesses, and improve processes. Since then, I have aspired to bridge the gap between business, people, and technology.
In the past 5 years, I have driven my life start-up through multiple stages of growth, from raising funding through scholarships,
fulfilling market need through internships at large Finance, Retail, and Tech corporations,
to delivering high-impact products/ projects on personal, professional, and national levels.
I am now looking forward to solving the next business problems using tech.
